Welcome! Here are some great educational sites that can be used with young children.
Many of these sites are geared toward preschool-kindergarten aged children. Please keep in mind that many sites cover a broad range of skills and skill levels. |Boowa and Kwala’s Site– over 300 activities to challenge young minds. Click on the Boowa and Kwala’s Icon for games for children 0-6. Check out the other areas too as there are many activities designed for the whole family!||Crafts for Preschoolers and Toddlers- an excellent site to keep little ones busy!|

|Education Place- this site is brought to you by Houghton Mifflin. It is packed with activities, themes, lesson plans and more! Covers all grade levels but is an excellent resource for teachers in early grades.||Enchanted Learning- this is an awesome site to find craft ideas, printable books, letter and number writing activities, theme units, calendar and more! Search the whole site for many more educational resources.|
|Everything Preschool– the theme says it all- lesson plans, activity ideas, freebies, recipes, book reviews, songs… you want it? it’s there!||Finger Play Galore- you will love this site! It has finger plays for math, seasons, everyday fun…|
|First School-free fun preschool lesson plans, educational early childhood activities, printable crafts, worksheets, calendar of events and other resources for children of preschool age. The preschool crafts, lesson plans and activities are appropriate and adaptable for toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarten level (ages 2 to 6). This is a place to spend some time!|
|Fisher Price’s Little People– lots of fun things to do with the little people! There are coloring pages, matching games, color and shape recognition and more!||Free Crafts For Kids- get craft ideas mailed directly to your email account for lots of fun!|
|Gayles Preschool Rainbow–Preschool education activities and early childhood education lesson plans Ideas are arranged by theme. Plus easy at home fun learning games. There’s even a search function and an opportunity to submit your own ideas||Highlights for Teachers- Highlight’s Magazine has a teacher site full of print and read stories, crafts, curriculum ideas, articles and more. Check it out!|
|Jazzles- fun coloring sheets to print for each letter of the alphabet. Site also includes information about the cool jazzy CD you can purchase about the letters of the alphabet.|

|Little Animals Activity Center– all sorts of fun activities for little learners-rhyming, stories (read aloud), word games, crafts…||Lil Fingers Site For Young Children- a great site to explore with your young learners. Includes books to read online, coloring pages, games and activities as well as holiday related activities.|
|Lil Fingers Spelling With Blocks– create your toddler’s name or other words with blocks. Create a word list and add them to your own websites.||Little Flowers Dayhome– preschool ideas are nicely arranged here.|
|Literacy Center-This site offers a lot! Sections included are letter recognition and formation, numbers, color and shape identification, spelling, time and the opportunity to learn new languages.|

|Miss Alphabet-if you need fun ideas to help teach the alphabet, this is the place to go!||Papa-Jan’s Online Coloring Pages- lots of books to browse and lots of pictures to color.|

|Preschool Education– discover the fun in learning, pop up ads do appear, but the site is packed with things that are worth the hassle.||Preschool Express by Jean Warren– Jean has created an awesome resource station for you to explore- activity calendars, art stations, toddler station, games and discovery, alphabet stations, music, holidays, and more. One of my personal favorites!|

I love this site!|

Easy to play interactive games such as puzzles, popping bubbles, online coloring pages, and more! Great music and cute graphics makes this site very appealing to young children.|

|~My Favorite Art Programs/Resources For Young Learners~
The best drawing program out there! This program allows for open-ended
projects for kids of all ages.
Tux Paint is a free drawing program designed for young children (kids ages 3 and up). It has a simple, easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects, and an encouraging cartoon mascot who helps guide children as they use the program. (See the full list of features.) It provides a blank canvas and a variety of drawing tools to help your child be creative.

An online painting program. Very simplistic and great for little learners! Pictures can
be printed too!
